AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Inventory Planner.

 

The Supply Chain Analyst (Inventory Planner) role will be responsible for monitoring Dealers and  Distributors Inventory reports in Parts domain. This Position will join our Managed Dealer  Inventory Team. The Inventory Planner will play a key role in Planning, Managing, Optimizing  inventory for Dealer accounts. The role will be individual contributor. The responsibilities being a hands-on analytics professional solving different use cases to provide value for Global Business Domains.

 

Your Impact

  • Design a fit-for purpose forecasting and planning system for managing dealer inventory.
  • Develop individual planning parameterization with each dealer to best meet their customer service and inventory budget targets.
  • Generate and review a weekly proposed order for each dealer.
  • Obtain Dealer feedback for continuing improvement of the order proposals through enhanced planning parameters and information on individual part numbers.
  • Measure performance and give feedback to the dealers.
  • Manage the forecasting and inventory planning for a selected list of MDI dealers.
  • Review a list of system generated orders weekly for each managed dealer.
  • Review forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment planning alerts.
  • Review and update planning parameters through on-going communication with all dealers and distributors to agree optimal planning parameters.
  • Communicate with all dealers and distributors to obtain feedback on order proposals and to improve data quality.
  • Capable of handling challenging IT systems, file manipulation, and data integration.
  • Assemble data, analyze performance, identify problems, and develop recommendations to support dealerships.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and analyze performance data to increase effectiveness of supply chain and influence behavior.
  • Show initiative, drive, and most importantly able to both maintain focus on the big picture while also demonstrating a commitment to details

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Full-time Bachelor’s Degree Engineering background with Statistical knowledge and education.
  • 10+ years of Experience of working in spare parts business, Parts Distribution Centers, Inventory Planning, Demand Forecasting, algorithms that need to be built for Dealers to order parts from company.
  • 10+ years of experience in understanding of parts ordering process, forecasting retail sales, understand of parts SCM operations and working on different ERP & legacy systems.
  • Knowledge of Reports in ERP and CRM Systems.
  • Hands-on experience in working with SQL, Advance Excel and Tableau.
  • 5+ years of Global experience driving enterprise level support.
  • Strong communication / interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels Globally and business management.
  • Flexibility in working at different time zones to participate in Business meetings.
  • Experience of managing an effective working relationship with the business.
  • Ensure business requirements are accurately captured agreed, accepted and implemented.
  • Certifications in statistical and Python skills – Desired skill
