The role is in charge of bringing AGCO Corporation’s Payroll and Time & Attendance (T&A) processes to world class efficiency, quality, ease of business and compliance by creating a sustainable, scalable framework relying on process automation.

Global Payroll and T&A Lead will implement and manage global/regional payroll processes and improvement projects by working closely with the regional Payroll Leaders, providing them with ongoing development, direction, management and leadership. 

Responsible for conceptualizing and executing the payroll strategy and transformative initiatives for payroll including tech/platform consolidation, process standardization, digitalization, enhancing self-service and optimizing shared services operations.

Ensures global/regional implementation and administration of payroll policies and procedures are in compliance with organizational and relevant laws, policies and regulations; and ultimately responsible for ensuring the accuracy of and approving all master payroll calendars, processing schedules and the timely and accurate delivery of pay.

 

Your Impact

  • Leads the design, implementation and operational delivery of a standardized global payroll and T&A solution with the highest level of integration to drive standardization, scalability, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Drives global/regional payroll and T&A related projects and operational transformation. Identifies opportunities for process simplification, standardization and efficiency gains. Performs analysis to assess impact of new policies/programs on payroll landscape (process, system, people). Partners closely with Payroll Regional Leads to ensure areas of focus align with and enable potential operational efficiencies.
  • Oversees and coordinates all aspects of payroll globally including regular review of payroll vendor relationships, servings as subject matter and industry expert on global payroll administration and being responsible for resource allocation across the teams and ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget.
  • Supports the Payroll Regional Leads and their teams to drive process consistency globally and coordinates local efforts towards global process standardization, strives to minimize exceptions and automate processes. Ensures Payroll Leads understand processes/projects and their role, coaching and training them as needed. Partners closely and collaborates with Internal Controls to streamline audit processes and expectations. Ensures robust payroll control framework with audit procedures based on correct controls to identify and close gaps. Assures that risk matrix is kept up-to-date and testing is current and documented.
  • Develops service level metrics and applies end-to-end controls for payroll processes while developing a culture of continuous improvement in all countries, as well as prepares related metrics and reporting to senior management and internal business and finance partners.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 10 years’ experience in HR including 6-8 years in Reward/Payroll area managing a regional/global payroll team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, including Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration.
  • Experience in managing payroll transformation project(s) / initiatives across geographic / business boundaries. Ability to evaluate, implement or upgrade payroll technology as needed.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with proven track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Extensive experience in establishing and standardizing policies, processes, procedures and controls to maximize automation, scalability, and cost-effectiveness

AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions.
