JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

To Assemble and Test all Finished Goods Products and Sub-assemblies to required Engineering, Quality and Productivity specifications. Performs required troubleshooting on Hydraulic / Electrical / Mechanical Systems.


Responsibilities and Job Functions

  • Follows Assembly directions from Shop Orders, Operational Method Sheets, Engineering Drawings, Quality Documents and verbal instructions in order to form sub-assemblies and assemblies.
  • Performs mechanical, electrical & hydraulic procedures in the completion of assembly tasks.
  • Moves completed product to next work area for continuation of assembly process.
  • Inspects finished assemblies or product to assure that work meets required specifications.
  • Assists co-workers on assembly line for continuous flow of operations.
  • Maintains clean work area at all times to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Follows all Safety Rules and wear required protective equipment.
  • Completes Non-Conforming Material processes.
  • Completes work assignments within standard guidelines of time and quality.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs issues arising on and off-line.
  • Learn and perform assembly work at all stations on all lines
  • Assist in training of new employees
  • Perform facility maintenance on an as-needed basis
  • Performs tasks with the utmost quality & productivity to set an example for other employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS


Education and Experience

  • Must possess basic math skills, understanding decimals and fractions for measurement.
  • Advanced mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand, power, and pneumatic tools, special test equipment and ability to troubleshoot and repair Hydraulic / Electrical / Mechanical Systems.

 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to read/write English for assembly directions, Work Orders, and safety instructions.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate a positive work attitude.
  • Must have basic computer literacy – use for researching prints, assembly instructions, etc.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
