The AGCO Parts Division has an exciting opportunity for a high-impact Sr Manager, NA Process Engineering to join its management team in delivering extraordinary results in our NA Parts Distribution and Assembly Center Networks. This is a role with growth potential and developmental opportunities located in Batavia, IL. In this position, you will drive the highest level of service and quality to our dealership network.

 

This candidate will be responsible for the value stream and process improvement of six parts distribution centers and three assembly centers to improve the delivery of tractors and parts to our North American dealer network. This position would lead a team of five to improve the current state process of safety, inbound logistics, receiving, put-away, processing orders, shipments, and inventory control at all locations. In addition, this role will be responsible for implementing new technologies, systems, and building a future state plan that would support the growth of our dealer network.

  

What you will do:

 

  • Develop, mentor, ad coach direct reports and operations teams on lean methodologies and continuous improvement
  • Lead the NA Aftersales sustainability initiatives to reduce waste created at each location
  • Identify projects partnering with Operations, logistics, and Purchasing to improve safety, reduce operational costs, and increase efficiencies at each location
  • Lead process design efforts and teams to meet new business needs
  • Work with purchasing teams on quality, cost, and delivery goals
  • Support lean and continuous improvement efforts through the use of lean tools (5s, Kaizen, Visual Controls, Waste Identification)

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering
  • ­5+ years Lean and/or six sigma experience
  • Ability to create current state / future state value streams working with Operations Leadership 
  • Experience with a tier 1 WMS (Manhattan preferable) 
  • Experience planning and implementing automation in a distribution environment 

 

 

A plus if you have:

 

  • Knowledge of distribution, warehousing or logistics systems
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Lean/6-Sigma training
  • Experience with a SAP system
