Job description

 

As an Embedded Software Integration Engineer, you work closely with the function development teams and integrate the sum of those functions into vehicle specific ECU firmwares. You combine the software and parameter files of vehicles to working software compounds that will be tested by the validation group. You participate in release planning events to understand the changes of the planned contents. You are part of a team of integration engineers and you cooperate with this group to improve processes and methods.

 

Your Mission

 

  • Integration of specific ECU firmwares and combination to machines with compounds
  • Development of ECU specific integration code
  • Configuration and maintenance of the respective ECU and Vehicle build and test pipelines
  • In the near future usage of Autosar integration tools
  • Participation in planning meetings on machine and function level
  • Cooperation with the validation team if integration issues are identified

 

 

 

 

Your Profile

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial IT, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with ideally experience in system-level embedded ECU design

• Ability to approach and solve complex problems with an objective, evidence-based and professional approach

• Experience in collecting and documenting system requirements

• Knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably C++

• Knowledge of software engineering and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, construction processes, tests and operations

• Appetite for international and intercultural environments

• Fluent in English
