Who We Are Looking For:

AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Sr. Mgr, Precision AG and Digital, India

This position will lead AGCO's Precision Ag & Digital (PA&D) area of the Bengaluru activities including establishing the strategies, process improvements, recruitment, skills development, special projects, and operational control functions. Responsible for the launch, resource expansion, growth, and maturity of our operations, including future growth to support a variety of functions across AGCO’s PA&D Activity. Supports strategic planning and execution of India Site related initiatives to enhance productivity, employee engagement, recruitment, training and define efficiency throughout the company. Provides leadership, direction and motivation to the PA&D teams employed at the India location.


The position is also responsible for the operational framework and service delivery, measuring effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and compliance. This includes creating and executing process scope and people development roadmap as the organization expands, collaborating with the PA&D Functional Heads of the different functions represented. Operational responsibility also relates to enable growth and stabilization, employee development, retention, cultural onboarding further standardization and improvement of these processes.


Leads cross-functional projects and various integration and standardization activities in alignment with stakeholders from different functions.


What You Will Do:


  • Manages PA&D team in India Site performance delivery by establishing and monitoring global, standard SLAs and key performance indicators
  • Identifies key measures of success for the operation and ensures continuity and successful delivery against these metrics and services to colleagues throughout the organization
  • Work with the Director IT, India to help establish overall site strategy including the evaluation of employee engagement, talent development & knowledge sharing
  • Works with the third party area managers and AGCO stakeholders & functional lead to plan demand and growth
  • Communicates internally to PA&D leaders and other leadership groups regarding the site and site progress
  • Fosters and maintains positive relationships with cross-functional teams and internal customers
  • Promotes proactive approaches to solve business needs/problems, while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the operational activity.
  • Develops organizational skills and identifies opportunities for common optimized processes across then PA&D business.
  • Drives an empowered and engaged high performance culture focused on continuous improvement and service delivery
  • Fosters a strong farmer first culture across the Indian PA&D team to ensure a quality service is delivered


What You Will Bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business, Economics or Management
  • Minimum of 6 years managing a service center
  • Proven leadership of large teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English
