Area Service Manager role is dedicated to work with Fendt/Challenger brand Distribution partners and internal functions to develop and sustain a profitable Distribution network which delivers industry leading standards of Aftersales support to end customers and maximizes the financial return for AGCO and its Distribution partners from the sale of AGCO genuine parts and service.



  • Technical consultancy in the field service around the tractors Fendt/Challenger brand and hands on support if needed
  • Key reference contact for our dealers manager in the defined work area
  • Developing, and implementing new service concepts
  • Implement Service Marketing campaign as defined by the Parts Commercial Manager
  • To support the launch of new product ranges
  • Dealer communications - dealer audits
  • Professional reporting within our national and international service organization
  • Support for trade fairs and exhibitions
  • Manage all field campaigns / repair programs for market on Fendt/Challenger products ensuring that completion rates are achieved in line with company objective
  • Policy claims assessment according to pre-defined guidelines



  • Additional qualification business or engineer / technician studies complement ideally profile
  • Experience in the operation of agricultural equipment
  • Very good knowledge of the product of the general agricultural equipment
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people,
  • strong communication skills supplemented with team-oriented
  • Results oriented
  • Good knowledge of English or the willingness to learn it 
  • Confident handling of the PC and the MS Office packages
  • Willingness to travel
  • Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions
  • Ability to develop respect and influence with external Dealer partners and internal colleagues, at all levels of seniority
  • Installing Action Plans and engaging Dealer personnel up to dealer Principal
  • Seniority 2/5 years
  • Driving license B



  • Farm equipment mechanic is highly desirable
  • Good knowledge of time management techniques
  • Competent in using coaching methodologies to support Dealer personnel to improve the performance of their business
  • Good knowledge of structured action planning techniques / a 'plan, do and review' methodology
