Job Summary

As AGCO is approaching the market with a brand new combine platform - IDEAL - an intensive focus is required on the implementation of a new training approach both internally in the corporation and externally through the AGCO distribution / dealer network channels with the aim of increasing product awareness and competitive advantages. The EME Marketing Services & Senior Commercial Training reporting to the Gold Harvesting Product Marketing Manager - will:

  • Lead the Commercial Training team (1 resource) in the development and implementation of the new commercial product training strategy for the customers and business partners
  • Develop and implement a new product training approach - sales and operator - valid for each product family / product line to enhance sales growth and price realization with particular focus on IDEAL in both field and classroom
  • Deliver and implement product sales techniques and selling know-how leadership including pricing
  • Develop product USP’s, SP’s and competitive advantages integrated in a new training documentation method
  • Contribute with the entire Product Marketing organization to ensure mid-term product development strategy
  • Develop and implement by harvest 2018 a brand new approach for customer product demo and field camp
  • Support Fendt and Massey Ferguson organizations on market trainings and field days- Contribute with the Pricing department on the market price definition and positioning
  • Lead the development of product training modules, and implement on a train-the-trainer basis to all key target markets and brands.

  • Strong experience in Sales Commercial Training in Agricultural machinery business
  • Seniority 6/8 years
  • Expert knowledge of the operation and function of combine harvesters
  • Wide experience in the development and presentation of product arguments and benefits to dealers and distributor networks
  • High Communication skills and public speaking in English is a must, German and French languages are a plus
  • Dealer training needs for the effective selling of harvesting equipment
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite especially in Excel and PowerPoint
