Electronic Engineer (Software Development)    
                                                                   
LOCATION:  Breganze, Vicenza

POSITION PURPOSE:
Serve as an embedded systems engineer for agricultural vehicle electronic systems, providing embedded software solutions based on C and C++ code to ensure superior performance, durability, reliability and quality.
This activity includes developing vehicle functional requirements and developing the overall vehicle electronic systems architecture
 
MAIN TASKS:

• Develops and maintains software applications and GUI application based on C and C++ code
• Specify system requirements for external software or hardware suppliers
• Prepares technical/functional specifications from system requirements documents and work with various groups to define interfaces and software requirements
• Validate the integration of internal and external supplier’s software modules into the electronic platform
• Work closely with the other engineering teams for the design and the research of optimal solutions during the development of a product 
• Assist testers engineers or other department (eg. production) with problem analysis and resolutions

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Minimum 2 years of experience in embedded systems software development
• Desirable a previous experience in development of vehicle/automotive control systems or agricultural equipment
• Fluent in English/Italian
• Knowledge about agriculture (desirable harvesting) machinery or relevant experience in the automotive sector would be a plus

• Experience with developing real-time embedded machine control software using C and C++.
• Experience with Object Oriented software development.
• Experience with defining software and hardware interfaces.
• In depth knowledge of J1939 and ISO11783 CAN communications
• SQL database development and interfaces
