Job Summary

 

 

Manager, Aftersales Training will plan and manage the service, parts and commercial services training for their responsible region/market.  This role is critical to the commercialization of aftersales training and will be responsible for the most effective and efficient use of the resources (personnel and facilities) to deliver strategic training to dealers and end users, whilst managing income and OPEX. Managing a team of training instructors to deliver training to dealer/distributor personnel and end-users this role will be brand neutral and support brand service leads with the delivery of both branded and none branded training courses.  Using centrally managed and governed curriculum, certification and training materials to engage with the dealers/distributors to promote the training, certification and technician target profile. Working with brand/function leads to set target days training/income by brand/function and then to generate monthly KPIs to report back for ELT roll up, monthly management pack and review by brand/function leads.  Using this to plan and manage the resources available in order to maximize productivity, dealer knowledge growth and income generation.

Supporting market requirements with market specific training as and where needed, acting as the go-to manager for all aftersales training within the area of responsibility.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Delivery of aftersales training within area/region of responsibility in order to improve dealer knowledge and generate revenue.
  • Management of a team of training instructors; day to day management to include performance reviews, target setting, HR administration etc.
  • Management of training facilities and resources; day to day facility management, tooling, health and safety, facility utilization etc.
  • Management of training function and KPIs through; driving days training delivered, extending the training season through good course planning, managing evaluation feedback from courses and the dealer satisfaction survey,
  • Income generation and OPEX control;
  • Income - drive and deliver the strategic commercialization and revenue generation from training function through various platforms.
  • OPEX - Management of OPEX for function, including OPEX, CAPEX and translation budgeting
  • KPI Reporting - reporting key KPIs outlined below, on a market and brand level, to central and brand managers on a monthly basis.
  • Interface internally with; AGCO academy,  dealer development, parts,  and other regional leads
  • Interface externally with; Market specific professional bodies/governments, third party vendors and suppliers
