AGCO is currently seeking a Technical Assistance Specialist

to join our Technical team in Breganze.

 

 

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

Technical Assistance Specialist role is dedicated to provide field/office based technical support to ASM, FST and dealers, feeding the factory and sharing the product information and the product evolution through regular staff meeting.

 

JOB RESPONSABILITIES

 

  • to provide field/office based technical support as part of the core Technical Help Desk (THD)
  • to take an active part in the THD support group whilst territory based (telephone and Source responsibilities)
  • to assist and monitor technical issue resolution provided by the dealer network.
  • to provide an interface between customers/dealers and factory/technical service.
  • to provide technical subject expert knowledge for dealer standards, i.e. training and tooling needs.
  • to ensure that all AGCO core or branded products are supported technically with superior customer service.
  • to support the training activities for the dealer network.
  • to conduct technical training, if required
  • to arrange field visit to dealers and customer, if needed, in a limited area
  • to Overnight KO’s authoring / bulletin creation assuming call traffic could be low.
  • to support other markets like DE / FR during nights.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Seniority 2-5 years
  • Must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing additional languages.
  • Technical knowledge of Agricultural Machinery
  • Knowledge of service/parts management methods
  • Good knowledge of mechanized agriculture and land preparation techniques
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of the farm machinery dealer network
  • Must have the ability to work in team with high quality level and must have excellent analytical skills
  • Pragmatic approach to solving problems onsite under difficult circumstances.
  • Fine communication skills as well as flair for dealer relations and customer oriented mentality.
  • Previous experience on product supports on high technology agricultural machinery would be one advantage.
  • Flexibility he/she will need to work during the night time and over the week end
