Data Specialist Demand Planning

Budapest, Hungary


Reporting to the Director, Demand Planning EME, this role will support AGCO's business processes including Master Data Management for Demand Planning systems, forecasting support, reporting, analytics and report automation.
A key task is the management of statistics data which the company shares with associations for their regional and global exchanges and covers different products within AGCO's product portfolio. The function includes the reporting, processing of the data, plausibility checks, query handling and establishment and running of a reporting process as well as the communication and alignment with various internal and external stakeholders.

What You will do:
• Work with all brands to setup new model offerings in the BW/BI Master Data database
• Ensure master data integrity in the forecasting systems as well as maintaining the processes to support data quality
• Ensure key product attributes are collected and maintained
• Product Master Data management :
• Forecast template preparation for scenario planning. Sense check of returned data and upload to system within strict deadlines
• Manage global and regional data exchange process with our external partners (shipments retail contract, order intake). Ensure master data integrity and updates in the internal system (SAP BI) for the AGCO models. Further develop and establish the automation of regular reporting processes.
• Support and manage global tractor retail database (data sourcing, consolidation, content management)
• Discuss and present results with related departments
• Handle routine administrative tasks related to monthly processes and manage any requests around the data
• Involvement in process improvement activities
• Develop and implement automation of regular reports/tasks using Alteryx in close collaboration with Demand Planning teams

What You will bring:
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in information science, data management, computer science, marketing or related field preferred.
• Affinity to work with numbers and analytic skills
• A techincally oriented and problem solving mindset
• Good interpersonal skills
• 2 - 3 years work experience in data analysis preferred
• Advanced Excel skills a must
• Ideally experience with SAP, MS Access, Tableau, Alteryx and other databases
• Good knowledge of English a must (written and spoken)
