Financial Accountant - Parts Operating Expense

Budapest, Hungary


The Financial Accountant is responsible for the financial Accounting processes as part of the R2R organization in our Shared Service center in Budapest. Provide support for the entities under Budapest R2R team.


What You Will Do:




  • Collate and review the month end accruals submissions to ensure that all input is received and accruals are appropriate under US & local GAAP.
  • Assist with the preparation of the the budgets & forecasts for EME Parts Operating Expenses for review by the supervisor by liaising issuing forecast templates, review initial submissions and raising queries where necessary together with headcount reporting
  • Maintain the invoicing of Parts Royalties to the suppliers on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
  • Administer Parts capital expenditure request forms to ensure that all approvals are obtained in a timely manner and capital spend is kept up to date.
  • Provide business support on routine issues relating to Operating Expenses      
  • Perform reconciliations of leasing costs
  • Accruals are reviewed to ensure appropriate & accurate.
  • Submissions are review and queries raised with cost centre holders. Reconciliation of headcount numbers from one stream
  • Ensure with merchandising all income is received
  • Follow up on any outstanding amounts due.
  • Work with the business to assist with issues as and when required
  • From One stream back to the contractual obligations from the contracts in the SAP ledgers
  • In case of Business Controller (Tech Serv) being on holiday some back up cover may be required for Technical Services operating expenses
  • Provide a summary at cost center level of all operating costs associated with bringing parts inventory into the warehouses


What You Will Bring:


  • Must hold some accounting qualification or be working towards recognized accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) plus 2+ years of general finance experience.
  • MS Office; with strong excel skills.
  • SAP and Onestream are an advantage
