Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer Job

Job Summary:

Software Engineer with an open approach to work with Liferay portal is accountable for delivering service-based applications assigned to the Digital Customer Experience area. This role applies the combined professional skills, AGCO knowledge and technical expertise to support and deliver AGCO business in the Digital Transformation area using cutting edge web technologies and Agile development practices.

Our team expanding on a large scale, therefore, we are keen to consider medior and senior professionals, since we are specifically looking for individuals who passionate about a rich variety of workloads across Backend OR Frontend OR Fullstack technologies. 

Our goal would be to have a well-balanced, equally passionate squad who keen to learn more about innovative technologies such as AWS platform, Angular, SpringBoot, Microsoft VSTS (Azure), Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, Bitbucket, Mulesoft, Docker, Liferay, etc., therefore we consider applicants from different technical backgrounds as well.  Please see the examples below.

Key Responsibilities:                                                            

• Participate in design, development and deployment of new features
• Write a well-designed, testable, quality code following clean code principles
• Implement unit and integration tests
• Document the development based on company standards
• Participate in architectural and technical reviews
• Provide support for systems being developed
• Monitor performance and provide responsive action to issues maintaining high-level internal customer satisfaction
• Continuously improve the process and learn/adapt new technologies and practices
• Develop Liferay components (portlets, themes, etc.) according to the business requirements
   

Requirements:

• Software development experience in Java OR Experience with Angular, Angular JS 
• Fluent in English
• Experience with RESTful web services
• Experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle) is an advantage
• Experience with HTML, CSS3 is an advantage 
• Solid understanding of application design, Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
• Experience with source code control tools (Git, Bitbucket)
• Experience with relational database technologies (for ex. MS SQL Server)
• Experience with Liferay portal development and administration is an advantage 
• Experience with AWS or other cloud solutions like Azure or Google Cloud is a plus
• Experience with Docker is a plus
