Administrator, Global Purchasing Systems

Budapest, Hungary
 

The role holder will be expected to effectively operate, maintain, sustain and promote the use of multiple Purchasing Strategic Systems (e.g., e-sourcing, APEX, Bi, etc.), AGCO University’s Learning Management System for School of Purchasing and Materials (SoPM) as well as to provide user support accordingly. The role leads the effort to analyze, validate and document the business and system requirements acting as a key liaison/engagement role between the SoPM, Global Purchasing, Suppliers, IT support functions & 3rd Party software providers. This role encompasses systems as well as data & business related activities. These responsibilities include providing support for project work, ongoing day-to-day operational needs (maintenance, fixes, enhancements, releases and small change requests.), performing data analysis.

 

What You will Do:


• Management of global supplier database, e-sourcing and spend management applications as well as user management (AGCO regional & supplier);
• Become first line contact for administration duties, user help, general use and management of Purchasing’s strategic systems (APEX / e-sourcing / Spend Mgmt. / LMS for SoPM / etc.);
• Highlight and investigate data & functionality anomalies and provide problem resolution to data related issues raised by users;
• Ensure adherence and support to established business processes, guidelines and policies;
• Maintain systems for users (internal and supplier), KPI data accuracy, database integrity, RFP/RFQ/Auction functionalities and overall systems integrity;
• Operate under proactive approach to global supplier database, new supplier introduction, supplier updates and obsolete supplier disposition;
• Work closely with users making sure that they understand data & different functionalities as well as training other employees how to use the applications and tools;
• Create participant lists, assign workshops/trainings to participants of SoPM, manage logistics of trainings with the sites, manage course evaluations & reporting, handle pre & post training assignments and coordinate SoPM’s annual schedule;
• Work with other analysts to understand integration points with other systems, and communicate the impact of proposed system changes;
• Assist with estimations of new developments and enhancement requests (costs, benefits, resources). 
• Monitor performance and provide responsive action to issues maintaining high-level internal customer satisfaction to required service level performance measures, through the successful resolution of customer requests/issues/change requests.
• Liaise with business users, stakeholders & 3rd party providers to gather requirements and produce detailed functional design documents (only after 1-2+ years in role);
• Develop standardized procedures for contact and follow up (only after 1-2+ years in role);

 

What You Will Bring:


• A strong academic background including a 4 year University/College degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering would be preferred;
• 2-5 years of experience in business or data analysis, customer oriented, requirements definition, report development, problem solving and related documentation and training;
• Working level English language skills (written and spoken) are a requirement;
• Strong oral & written communication / interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of business management and IT;
• Successfully influences diverse groups and teams in a complex, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment to deliver value-added solutions;
• Adaptable to new technologies/practices and acts as change agent within teams;
