Pricing & Programs Manager


AGCO is currently seeking a Pricing & Programs Manager to join our team in Duluth, GA. The Pricing & Programs Manager will be responsible for managing the pricing and programs function for AGCO’s agricultural wholegoods products in North America. Additionally, he/she will lead in developing pricing strategies and programs, which directly affect each dealer’s ability to sell products and AGCO’s ability to drive orders in a timely fashion to minimize disruption to plants. Lastly, the Pricing & Programs Manager will collaborate closely with AGCO’s Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to deliver increased market share and improved profitability via the optimization of whole goods and component pricing and programs.



  • Considering all strategic levers: business economics, customer market, dealer network, competition, and strategic market share and margin goals, set pricing targets and competitive position for assigned product segments
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on market and competitive analysis, as well as future product pricing
  • Develop and execute pricing strategy and tactical execution
  • Develop sales and discount programs, achieving budget and share goals
  • Develop order writing programs to ensure minimal impact on manufacturing plants
  • Develop pricing assumptions for future products
  • Analyze product profitability and identify margin-improvement opportunities
  • Calculate impact of pricing and program actions in financial statements
  • Evaluate and approve Special Pricing Requests and national account pricing
  • Annual revenue of series group impacted will be up to $0.5B, depending upon series group size
  • Analyze discount program efficiency and effectiveness, including incentives, rebates, discounts, and promotions


Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of post-collegiate professional work experience in a business setting with minimally 2 years being in a quantitatively and project focused position
  • A minimum of 2 years of business-related financial analysis experience (ie. breakeven analysis, business case development, margin analysis)
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, specifically experience with pivot tables, power pivot, IF statements, VLOOKUPS, and macros
  • Intermediate in Microsoft PowerPoint, including experience in creating charts, tables, and graphs


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industrial equipment, durable goods, agricultural, or automotive pricing and/or incentives experience, preferably with a manufacturing company (ie. impact analysis of price changes, promotions, trade/dealer programs, product configurations)
  • Exposure to Microsoft Access
  • CPP (Certified Pricing Professional)



  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business, Mathematics, Economics, or other analytical/quantitative major
  • Master’s degree is preferred
