JOB Title: Product Manager, technical and customer support 


AGCO is currently seeking a Product Manager, Technical and Customer Support to join our Precision Ag & Digital team in Duluth, GA.  The Product Manager role combines the SaFe Agile roles of Product Manager and EPIC Owner.  The position's responsibilities can be summarized as the end-to-end ownership for Technical and Customer Support related to products that are not onboard AGCO equipment. 


A successful Product Manager, Technical and Customer Support is a visionary leader possessing strong skills in business management and digital products.  The position will be leading a team of 5-8 product owners and solution specialists to achieve tactical and strategic goals.  These requires proactive collaboration with teams across AGCO to ensure alignment and application of practices that both support business goals and meet the needs of our customers.


Reporting to the Director, Digital Product Management, this position requires the ability to understand business issues and articulate the business context of projects and processes to facilitate, prioritize, plan, and deliver on product timelines.  The Product Manager should have a proven track record of delivery within a SaFe Agile environment and within budget while also indirectly leading the development team internally and externally to meet project goals.


Relocation assistance is available to the Duluth, GA area for this position; however, this position can be located remotely.  Additionally, this role may travel up to 25% of the time once travel safely ramps up again.



Responsibilities of the Product Manager, Technical and Customer Support:


  • Develop product visions for all products that meet expectations of global stakeholders
  • Define end-to-end process changes / improvements.
  • Manage the long-term global roadmap, involving all Global stakeholder groups.
  • Implement global product strategies to achieve short term performance vs budget
  • Long-term strategic goals based on agreed global or regional value streams for all products.
  • Represent the customer /dealer needs by engaging the customer/ dealer and ensuring that the business outcomes are at the heart of all moves made.
  • Own prioritization of all product backlogs to be continually aligned to business value
  • Work with technical teams and other managers to determine the business value of proposed features and products.




Qualifications of the Product Manager, Technical and Customer Support:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to establish strong cross-organizational partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization from executives to technology specialists
  • 6-8 years of experience in digital product management or business units setting vision and strategy


Education of the Product Manager, Technical and Customer Support:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Information Systems or related field
  • Agile SaFe qualification is a plus
