As part of the team, you will be involved early in the product development process to ensure highly valuable agronomic and livestock focused issues are identified and solved. When products are in final development, you will be responsible to prove grower ROI and the effectiveness of farm solutions through on farm research trials, leading to commercialization of products that bring enhanced value to our customers.
Your Impact
- Be the livestock nutrition and forage management representative on the global agronomy and farm solutions team.
- Partner with farmer customers to understand farm finance and livestock and forage challenges.
- Lead field research to identify and value key agronomic/livestock opportunities to inform product development.
- Assist with agronomic/livestock performance evaluation related to AGCO machines and solutions during prototype phase.
- Partner with marketing to develop agronomic/livestock demonstration plans for machines and solutions during the launch phase.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science or Forage Agronomy
- 1-3 years’ experience working with livestock or forage production
- Technical experience working in the AG industry in a role focused on interpreting science to help farmers make the most of new products. Understand the equipment and the data it generates and how this effects processes on a farm
- A strong understanding of farming with focus on livestock nutrition, forage management, and agriculture economics
