1st Shift Assembler - Assembly Academy

AGCO is now hiring full-time Assemblers to work on 1st shift at our state-of-the-art facility in Jackson, MN. Compensation offered for this position starts at $18.80-$21.20 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Assemblers start with AGCO by going through our Assembly Academy. The purpose of this is to advance assembly skills of students and provide AGCO with skilled assembly operators. The Assembly Academy consists of two weeks of classroom and hands-on training.

Assembler Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspect the edges and ream holes to properly align parts
• Prepare the parts for paint and work from blueprints
• Lubricate assemblies as needed
• Position control mechanisms and connection levers and rods with the correct bolts, rivets, or fasteners

Assembler Key Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must be able to keep pace with progressive assembly line
• Ability to measure and work with power and hand tools
• Ability to train within the Assembly Academy for 2 weeks
