An opportunity has arisen to join the Aftersales Marketing department and work within the Accessories team.


AGCO Dealer-Fit Accessories business here in EME region currently generates $60m annual revenue. This complex business has a recognised high potential for further growth and this new role of Accessories Product Manager will be pivotal in developing and realising this opportunity for AGCO.


Working closely with the Manager Aftersales Accessories Business Development and based in Abbey Park, this person will be tasked with researching, understanding, defining and delivering business development / marketing strategies with the purpose of growing this business. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can drive programmes and business growth with minimal guidance.


As such, this role requires a minimum basic technical understanding of how Ag Machinery works and is applied in the field. It also requires a strong commercial aptitude for OE aftersales business (preferably AGCO or similar automotive) along with understanding:

    - The needs of the AGCO Distribution network
    - Channels to market
    - Key commercial gateways and strategy


This role has responsibility across all EME markets and all AGCO brands. 

To deliver and maintain significant revenue growth opportunities pertaining to the AGCO Dealer-Fit Accessories business in EME.

To be the go-to person for Accessories, visiting suppliers, Dealers and working closely with the Aftersales Commercial teams.

To research, define and successfully implement market strategies to optimise key performance criteria:-

    - AGCO net income and margins
    - Dealer network and retail engagement
    - Range of Accessories products
    - Ease of doing business with AGCO
    - Service Level KPI's  (off-the-shelf availability, end to end fulfilment time frames, etc.)


To work closely with the AGCO factories, supplier partners, Aftersales Commercial teams and Distribution Partners in order to define business propositions that meet the requirements of all concerned. The tacit measurement of this is consequential engagement and sales growth.

This person will have regular need to visit key Dealers and Distributors across the EME region specifically to drive this business in support of the field Aftersales Commercial teams.

Assertive, clear, credible and compelling communication skills are essential.

Attention to detail, a constructive can-do attitude to business, a strong commercial aptitude - these are also pre-requisites for the person in this role.


As this person will be primarily tasked with developing the Dealer-fit Accessories business in Germany and German-speaking Distributor markets, it's imperative that he/she speaks fluent German.
