Supply Specialist (Import & Logistics)

Location: Gebze, Istanbul

Job Summary:

  •  Assist Dealer Central Manager – Agco Turkey, with ‘function’ activities and other business needs

  •  Ensure dealer orders are loaded and processed quickly and efficiently – as directed by Dealer Central Mn’gr, Agco Turkey

  •  Raising the sales invoices and providing the needed certificates to the dealers.

  •  Ensuring that all shipment , warehousing invoices are issued correctly align with the agreements done with the 3rd party companies.

  •  Monitoring and reporting of company inventory to Senior Management – Agco Turkey

  •  Monitoring of Dealer ‘Credit Holds’ - in conjunction with Dealer Central Manager and other relevant Senior Management, Agco Turkey.

  •  Provide reports on order status and inventory to Dealer Central Manager and Sales Team – Agco Turkey

  •  Liaise with third party Logistics operations to optimize importation and distribution activities

  •  Entering the shipped machines into the ITMS system in order to follow up the transportation and documents.

  •  Preparing of  all the accounting copies of the documents and filing.

  •  Answering and monitoring of the dealer incoming calls inc. their claims.

  •  Making conformity entries to Artes, which is the system of the Notaries Union, in order to be able to register of the tractors at the notary.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Dealer Central activities completed in accordance with the direction of Dealer Central Manager.

  •  Achieve business requirements, with minimal errors when ‘orders’ are processed.

  •  Maintain and monitor Inventory status – in accordance with directed strategy of Dealer Central Manager, Agco Turkey

  •  Maintenance of relevant information - to permit timely and accurate decision making

  •  Provide on a weekly or “when required” basis.

  •  Provide daily status – as requested by Dealer Central Manager and other relevant Agco Turkey Senior Management

  •  Processing dealer sales orders through the SAP system, monitoring inventory and assist sales team.

  • Allocation of inventory and arranging shipment of product to dealers.

  •  Monitoring of inventory and provision of status reports to Dealer Central Manager – Agco Turkey.

  •  Complete Customer declaration / Customs documentation - required for tractors imported into Turkey.

  •  Review Dealer orders incl. credit limits with Dealer Central Manager - Agco Turkey, liaise with Senior Management – Agco Turkey.

  •  Liaison with third party Logistics operation with regard to the importation and distribution of products within Turkey.



  • University degree

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an order processing / logistic role

  • Good communication and PC skills, especially order processing - system specific training will be provided

  • Extensive knowledge of Logistics processes, in particular the Shipping / Distribution of products into and within Turkey.

  • Language Skills for English

  • Able to work in a busy environment, as part of a team                 

  • Able to interact with factory personnel, shipping agents, sales staff and dealer staff, understanding their needs and business needs

  • Provide timely and accurate information to Agco Turkey senior management

  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet operational requirements of function / business – as identified by Dealer Central Manager...
