Intern (m/f/d) International Show Management and Strategic Marketing (ref. 85795)


This position will be based at our site in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland or in Marktoberdorf, Germany with the option to partly work remote. The working language is English.


Preparing for and executing international trade shows like SIMA in November 2022 in France, is a key activity for AGCO. To help drive a successful show, AGCO's Multi-Brand Strategy and Brand Governance team is looking for a project management-focused and creative intern from March to December 2022 to support the team's International Exhibition Manager. International shows, both physical and virtual, are a key part of AGCO's strategic marketing activities, involving all of AGCO's key brands.


Be part of Strategic Marketing, Brand Governance Team with people from over twenty different nationalities and become a member of our AGCO Europe & Middle East region which accounts for more than half of our company’s revenue.


What You Will Do


  • Supporting the Manager in producing reports and presentations
  • Supporting the Manager in general project management and supplier management  
  • Supporting the Manager in show cost and invoice management across AGCOs brands
  • Supporting the Manager in Purchase Order management in SAP
  • Supporting the Manager in defining and tracking show cost KPIs
  • Supporting the Manager in handling VIP arrangements for shows
  • Supporting the Manager in administrative tasks as well as producing status update materials


What You Will Bring


  • Bachelor or Master's Degree
  • Project management experience, ideally in event management
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Online and offline marketing knowledge
  • Strong understanding of budget and invoice processes
  • Knowledge of Purchase Order management in SAP is a strong advantage
  • Experience in a matrix environment is an advantage
  • Strong MS Office in particular Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Written and verbal business English fluency
  • A minimum working knowledge of an additional European language, French knowledge is a strong advantage
