Your Impact

• Develop a methodological approach for identifying and assessing future technology fields for smart farming and agricultural machinery
• Develop an assessment logic for technological relevance, trend dynamics, maturity and time horizon
• Compare suitable data-driven forecasting and scoring methods
• Design and prototype a structured overview for classifying technological developments
• Optional: Derive strategic recommendations for technology monitoring, roadmaps and portfolio decisions
• Optional: Develop a demonstrator for the interactive use and visualization of results 

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, software engineering or a comparable field
• Strong interest in technology scouting, strategic technology planning, smart farming and the application of modern analytical methods in an industrial environment
• Initial practical experience in data analysis and prototype software development
• Knowledge of Python, data processing, API usage, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation or prompt engineering is an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English
