Responsibilities:

  • Monitor production schedules and production activity to ensure internal and external customer requirements are met.

  • Effectively and accurately communicate to the Production team, driving day to day execution to meet objectives.

  • Works closely with production, purchasing, engineering, quality and customer service to ensure the completion of common goals.

  • Assists department to coordinate all production activities and to eliminate delays.

  • Recommend new processes & procedures as needed.

  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and great customer service.

  • Monitors back orders and communicates with Purchasing and the Production Team on specific items needed to resolve and updates start date of Manufacturing Order.

  • Continually updates production schedule as new work orders are entered, changed or canceled.

  • Coordinate multiple production schedules

  • Communicate with the production team on schedule changes and priority changes.

 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 2 plus years in Precision Planting agriculture, preferred.

  • Ability to be flexible at shifting priorities and directions.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus on managing details.

  • Must prioritize; have good time management skills; must be a self-starter and able to work both independently and as a team.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside the work group.

  • Must be highly collaborative.

  • Must have excellent critical thinking skills.

  • Must be resourceful and proactive when problem solving.

  • Must have excellent documentation, writing, organization and verbal communication skills.

  •  Proficiency with basic Warehouse Management/Manufacturing software, Excel, Tableau and Google Docs.
