Design Engineering Intern Job

Job Summary

The Design Engineering Intern will support the design of IS Material Handling Products and GSI Structures Projects or other projects as assigned

Job Function and Responsibilities

Product Design

• Create 3-D models and drawings of IS Material Handling Products or GSI Structures products using Creo software
• Responsible for bills of materials.
• Work with Manufacturing to Update Designs as needed.
• Other Projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

Solid Modeling Experience/Training Strongly Preferred

Strong time-management and creative problem solving skills

Ability to work either independently or in a team setting demonstrating a positive work attitude

Good mechanical & technical aptitude

Strong Windows and Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experience in the Agricultural Industry a plus

Proven, Strong work ethic required

Education

Enrollment in undergraduate Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering, or Mechanized Systems Mgmt or a related technical field required
