Area Aftersales Commercial Manager, West England & Wales

Job Summary

 

A permanent opportunity has arisen for an Area Aftersales Commercial Manager for a given territory West England & Wales, to develop and sustain a profitable Distribution network which delivers industry leading standards of Commercial Aftersales support and excellence to end customers, to maximise financial return for AGCO and our distribution partners from the sale of AGCO parts and other related programmes we run and support.

The position is responsible for Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, and Valtra Parts sales, including the Commercial activities related to our Parts & Service business. This will involve working closely with the Dealer network in Ireland at all levels, including a very close working relationships with our Wholegoods, Aftersales Marketing & Service colleagues, plus our Customer Support team based in the UK.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Parts Sales and margin objectives for the Sales Area
  • Define, communicate, and install strategic Aftersales Business/Marketing Plans with the Dealer network
  • Develop and manage a schedule of targeted Dealer visits supported by professional business administration and reporting
  • Manage the installation and the ongoing support of our strategic Aftersales Business Development Plans with our dealer network in the given territory
  • Support the evolution and programmes of Dealer Aftersales Quality Standards, CSI/ NPS and profitability
  • Work alongside and support our Technical Service, Wholegoods Area Managers, and other internal departments
  • Maintain awareness of key customers, customer expectations and local competitor activity within the region

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • A Commercial Aftersales acumen.
  • The ability will be demonstrated throughout all levels of the business.
  • A proven track record in territory responsibility/Management in a result driven environment.
  • Action planning.
  • Identifying business development opportunities to deliver positive results in line with AGCO's strategic plans and to support our end users.
  • Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and IT skills.
  • A consultative selling approach with a positive "can-do!" ethos, providing "win-win" business solutions.
  • Be able to engage and influence our distribution in everything we do.
  • Must be a self-motivated, positive, and enthusiastic team player.
