Dealers and Distributors Inventory Planning Administrator
Stoneleigh

This is an initial 6 month fixed-term contract position


 
Job Summary

 

An opportunity has arisen for an Inventory Administrator to improve the service provided by AGCO to end-customers through better stocking of parts in AGCO dealerships. The major functions of the role are:


•  Manage a forecasting and planning system for optimizing dealer inventories
•  Develop individual planning strategies with different dealers in Europe to best meet their customer service and inventory budget targets
•  Obtain dealer feedback for continuing improvement of their inventory Planning recommendations
•  Communicate with dealers to improve the quality of data extracted from their local systems
•  Contribute to the creation of additional inventory planning enhancements and the roll-out of the solution to additional locations
•  Measure performance and give feedback to the dealers
 


Key Responsibilities:

 

• Manage forecasting and inventory planning for a selected list of European dealers
• Actively contribute to review the planning system results on a regular basis
• Support the review and the update of the planning parameters for dealerships through on-going communication with all parties to agree optimal planning parameters
• Support communication with AGCO European dealers to improve data quality and planning
• Contribute in maintaining and enhancing reporting, monitoring and analysis of KPIs
 

 

Qualifications or Experience:

 

• Bachelor's Degree in a numerate discipline (or in last year of study)
• Understanding of supply chain management
• Theoretical knowledge of forecasting and inventory planning techniques
• Comfortable in working with large amounts of numerical data
• Good interpersonal skills to create positive working relationships with dealers and external partners
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete work with speed and accuracy within established timeframes
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
• Fluency in at least one other language an advantage (French or German especially)
