Field Technical Manager – Fendt


A permanent vacancy has arisen in Technical Service for a Field Technical Manager - Fendt. This position will report to the Product Technical Manager – Fendt and will provide dedicated technical field support.


Job Responsibilities


•   To provide field based technical support as part of the core technical assistance group (TAG)
•   Control of policy warranty spend
•   Take direction from the central TAG group (not dealer network)
•   Take an active part in the TAG support group whilst territory based
•   Assist and monitor technical issues reported by the UK and EIRE dealer network
•   Provide an interface between the dealer network and factory support
•   Provide support for the after sales managers with regard to dealer standards
•   Ensure that the brand products are supported technically to provide superior customer service
•   Assist with technical training when required


Skills and Experience:
•    A comprehensive technical knowledge of AGCO products
•    Knowledge of service/parts management methods
•    Good knowledge of mechanized agriculture and land preparation techniques
•    Good interpersonal skills
•    Commercial awareness
•    Good understanding of the farm machinery dealer network
•    High level PC expertise
•    Ability to communicate at all levels
•    Good English knowledge (written and spoken)
