Marketing Project Specialist

Hybrid Working – Stoneleigh, Warwickshire

Fixed Term Contract – 24 months, potential to go permanent
 

Job Summary

The Marketing Project Specialist role is a key role within the Aftersales Marketing Content Management and Creative Services team. The team are responsible for creating, producing and deploying all EME Aftersales Marketing material across traditional and digital channels, supporting all Aftersales products and services across the 3 key machinery brands (Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Valtra), as well as the AGCO Parts brand.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing budget management for the marketing spend across all projects, including timely forecasting, submissions and management analysis. This equates to circa $3m annual discretionary OPEX and requires a high level of numeracy and understanding.  See the below details relating to this responsibility.
  • Support with the coordination of the EME Aftersales Marketing translations process, which is an important part of the overall campaign delivery process. Work closely with the Aftersales Marketing Content Management and Creative Services team and our translation supplier to ensure smooth and timely processing of our translation projects, ensure communication with AGCO Aftersales translation reviewers and work with the Marketing Services Manager to identify process improvements.
  • Support with the co-ordination of key processes relating to the storage and distribution of our marketing material, including stock reviews, reports and important paperwork.
  • General coordination duties and ad hoc support to any projects within Aftersales Marketing that are deemed suitable and require planning and organising, e.g. obtaining quotes from suppliers, ordering giveaways, coordinating calendar orders, organising attendance to events.

 

Support the financial management of EME Aftersales Marketing with the following responsibilities:

    • Maintain an accurate budget and invoice tracker
    • Raise shopping carts in the SRM system, track to Purchase Order (PO) creation and communicate to management.
    • Check invoices for accuracy, create PO confirmations in the SRM system and email invoices to the correct Indirect Invoicing team for payment processing.
    • Reconcile monthly actuals against the invoice and budget trackers, adjust accordingly and provide management summaries.
    • Re-phase budget in the budget tracker to accommodate changes to campaigns, additions, general marcomms amendments and exchange rate fluctuations.
    • Complete the monthly accruals templates, obtain management approval and email to the Finance Manager.
    • Arrange budget meetings in advance for each financial forecast. Set the agenda, take notes and actions, and follow up.
    • Reconcile the actuals on each forecast template with the budget tracker and investigate discrepancies. 
    • Complete the forecast templates in conjunction with management.  
    • Plan Q4 spend at the end of Q3, highlighting any potential issues to management. 
    • Respond in a timely manner to any Finance queries on PO issues.    
    • Process ad hoc payments. 
    • Attend campaign budget meetings to discuss budget allocation and spend. 
    • Budget for CapEx / CER deductions as required.
    • Adhere to vendor data management processes for vendor creation, extensions and reactivations and resolve issues when required

 

Experience & Qualifications:

    • Experience in budget management
    • Knowledge and clear understanding of effective marketing communication tools and processes
    • Effective communication skills at all levels
    • Highly skilled in planning, organising and coordinating
    • Experience and/or qualification in Business Management or Marketing an advantage
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
    • Experience in a multi-market environment, preferably aftersales
    • Knowledge/experience of our retail customer base and industry
