Job Summary

Through 2021, the EME commercial aftersales business has significantly reviewed, refined and sharpened our Retail Marketing strategy. FARMER FIRST is paramount. By virtue of developing resonant retail campaigns with clear, actionable and measurable outcomes, we are driving customer engagement and thereby profitability both for AGCO and our distribution partners. To support this strategy in 2022 and beyond, we now aim to further bolster our aftersales strategic marketing team, with an experienced retail campaign manager who brings a clear and demonstrable track record of commercial success. This person will be ultra farmer-centric, understanding the priorities and psychology of AGCO customers, in respect to servicing and maintaining machinery, as well as managing consumables through their businesses. Equally important is an understanding of the key market dynamics - including seasonality, channels to market, customer segments, competitor strategies, lifecycle dynamics and how AGCO and the dealer can jointly atune into this optimally. With the support of a high calibre team of Creative designers and Digital Marketing experts, the resultant campaigns need to be thoroughly researched. Outcomes need to be modelled to determine engagement and profitability. There needs to be a clear and compelling value proposition with a definitive call to action, and the campaigns need to be seasonally resonant. This person will have the experience and vision to be campaign lead and will co-ordinate successful and on-time campaign delivery across European markets. An ability to keep calm under pressure and manage multiple projects at one time will be integral, as well as the personal drive to continually challenge, influence, and refine our strategy. Very likely the successful candidate will be used to working within an international business, with a network of distribution partners and with automotive or capital equipment.

Job Responsibilities


- Delivery of net sales & margin pertaining to the in-scope Aftersales Retail Campaigns (SMART campaigns). Primarily for AGCO but also for our Distribution partners

- To define, construct and deliver commercially successful Aftersales retail campaigns into all European markets, including:

- Pre-campaign market research / validation. (Customers, Distribution Partners, Field Sales team)

- Forecasting and modelling outcomes (engagement / profitability for both AGCO and dealer)

- Defining & delivering a clear & compelling value proposition: Farmer + Dealer

- A Clear & Measurable CTA (Call to Action)

- Using targeting strategies where appropriate

- Using multi-channel, strong and consistent communication

- Campaign onboarding communication - sales team, distribution partners, Campaign Measurement, Analytics, Insights

Minimum Qualifications

- Strong commercial awareness

- High level of literacy and numeracy

- Excellent interpersonal skills - communication, positively influencing, "selling" concepts and strategies

- Excellent organisational and planning skills

- Understanding the practical dynamics of our distribution partners - working practices, different business models, ways to access and influence
