We are looking for a

Senior Project Coordinator

In this role you will be able to work in a genuinely international role within AGCO engineering. Our task is to deliver the products the farmers use to feed the world for many years to come. You get to work on the cutting edge of agricultural technology with the global network of AGCO engineers developing the AGCO Volume Brand products.

Your role

As the senior project coordinator for platform, you have a key role in the New Project Introduction (NPI) project team on a selected platform. The role of a project coordinator is a mixture of technical and project management tasks as a part of a multi-site tractor NPI project management team lead by the Platform Lead Engineer (PLE) of the platform. You develop multi-year project plans, track and report them to make sure the quality, financial and time metrics are met. You give or support the PLE in giving management reports on the project status.

You have a key role in defining the project content of an NPI project as well as organizing and facilitating periodical project reviews with all stakeholders included. You provide support for different stakeholders throughout the project from the beginning to the start of serial production and beyond. A part of this role is also to participate in the global development of NPI-related processes to improve AGCO NPI project quality, delivery, cost, and timing.

Your experience and skills

Our values are team play, openness, reliability, initiative, and respect. We are looking for a person who will sign these values with us. To be successful in this role you need to have a relevant education (e.g., bachelor’s or master’s) in the field of engineering. Even more important than formal education is the extensive 5+ year experience in engineering and/or project work you have. Because this role is a key role in the tractor NPI project management, a strong background with heavy equipment and/or some experience in heavy equipment engineering experience is needed. You have very strong skills with 3D (Creo), other engineering tools, Windchill and MS Office tools to work with the project tasks independently. Being familiar with stage-gate project processes is considered a major asset.

You are open minded and open to new ideas, suggestions and can think “outside the box” when developing the project processes. You can work efficiently as an individual and as a part of a global team. A big portion of this role is co-operating with the global teams, so excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory. Being fluent in Finnish language is an asset. You can travel occasionally within Europe to meet colleagues on the other AGCO sites.

What we offer

We welcome you to our global, appreciative, open corporate culture – with a great team spirit and good working atmosphere in an easy-going, yet highly professional team. Your ideas and your personal and professional development are important to us, and we value Speak Up -culture. We look forward to developing your full potential and giving you possibilities for career development within AGCO.

We attach great importance to support your individual work-life balance with individual hybrid working possibilities, flexibility in working hours and comprehensive occupational health services. You will have a desk in our Suolahti factory site and will be locally supported by and engaged to our Suolahti team.
