Your impact
We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our development teams and ensure quality delivery across our software applications. This role requires expertise in both traditional and Agile testing methodologies, with a focus on working within cross functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
• Execute manual testing based on user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements
• Identify and recommend test cases suitable for automation and collaborate with development teams on automation strategy
• Support sprint planning by providing testing effort estimates and quality risk assessments
• Apply various testing techniques that may include behavior-driven testing, test[1]driven development, exploratory testing, and regression testing
• Assist development teams with test automation activities and CI/CD pipeline integration
Your experience and qualifications
• Intermediate seniority level of software testing experience with exposure to both traditional and Agile methodologies
• Experience working in Scrum or other Agile frameworks
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and test case design
• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and API testing
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, iterative development cycles
• Fluency in English (written and verbal communication)
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing
• ISTQB certifications or other testing credentials
Team Collaboration & Communication
• Work as an integral member of cross-functional Agile teams alongside developers and product owners
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define testable acceptance criteria and user stories
• Communicate testing progress and quality metrics to team members and stakeholder
