Sr Design Engineer

Job Summary

SR Engineer to help Harvesting team to achieve higher performance level. Enthusiasm, extreme energy and thirst for knowledge are essentials

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative, practical design solutions to enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Design complex products and create detailed layouts using advanced CAD and computer graphics systems.
• Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and simulations to support design decisions and validate product performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with test engineers, technicians, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to align on design, testing, and production schedules.
• Conduct technical evaluations of competitive products and travel domestically and internationally to support product validation, field testing, and product launches.

Experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineer
• Knowledge of CAD software
• CREO is preferable
• Experience with big assemblies
• Experience leading layouts using top down design concept
• Knowledge of Engineering data management
• Windchill is preferable
• Knowledge of GD&T
• Knowledge of DFMEA
• FEA knowledge is preferable
• At least 5 years’ experience at similar role
• To be able to work with the SA and global combine team (team working)
• To design 3D models and also 2D drawings in order to improve components, sub-assemblies and assemblies
• To build validation plans with the validation team
• To design focused to obtain most cost effective solutions
• To lead discussions with other areas and suppliers
• To lead DFMEA multifunctional meetings
• To manage master layout in Creo
• Fluent English write/read – Advanced speaking
