Job Summary
The Manufacturing Specialist is a key technical and project leader responsible for driving robust manufacturing processes, enabling operational excellence, and supporting the strategic objectives of the AGCO Combines business. This role combines deep process expertise with strong project management skills to lead complex initiatives and drive improvements that strengthen Safety, Quality, and Efficiency, while ensuring effective execution of strategic initiatives that enhance the plant's overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead major manufacturing engineering projects, ensuring scope, budget, timelines, and deliverables are aligned with AGCO’s Strategic Business Plan.
• Translate the site’s long-term strategy into actionable manufacturing initiatives, driving execution through structured project management methodologies.
• Lead cross-functional teams to industrialize new products, introduce new technologies, and support model year changes, ensuring manufacturing readiness and operational continuity.
• Drive structured problem solving (8D, DMAIC) to eliminate chronic issues, reduce process variation, and support strategic KPI improvement.
• Deploy automation, digital solutions, and mistake-proofing systems to enhance safety, ergonomics, and productivity in alignment with global AGCO Manufacturing standards.
Experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering.
- Advanced English level.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing engineering, process optimization, and industrialization for high-variation and high-complexity products. - Demonstrates strong proficiency in project management methodologies (APQP, PMP), successfully leading projects from initial concept through launch, validation, and full stabilization.
- Demonstrated expertise in Six Sigma and structured problem-solving systems.
- High proficiency in data-driven decision-making, statistical analysis, and process capability evaluation.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with ability to coordinate cross functional teams and interact effectively with site leadership.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information to leadership and global stakeholders.
