The NPI Project Team Lead drives operative management of the NPI (New Product Introduction) projects on site. 
He/She co-ordinates the multi-functional team, across the manufacturing/engineering location once the project is established.
This position requires an enthusiastic approach to co-ordinate the multi-functional core team, and to ensure deliverables are complete according to agreed metrics including quality, financials and timing.
He/She assists other project team members on following the NPI procedure, directives and requirements, to report project status and any documentation required for Gate Reviews and Operational Product Committee meetings

 

Your Impact

  • Responsible for commitments and results of his/her project.
  • The NPI Project Team Lead will be responsible for one or more projects composed by functionally assigned members coming from Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Product Management, Marketing, Finance, Product Support and Parts organizations.
  • He/she has no direct/hierarchical reports but by being responsible for the overall commitments and results of the project, can allocate work (tasks and deliverables) to other project team members and track its completion.
  • Motivate and assist other project team members on learning and applying Company’s new product introduction processes and tools.
  • NPI Project Leads must collaborate with a wide range of people, such as project sponsors, suppliers, and experienced professionals 

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  •  Complete University degree in Business, Product Management, Engineering or similar, and/or minimum of three years of experience in Project or Product management 
  •  Overall level of understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) procedures, responsibilities, and tools.
  •  Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
  •  Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  •  Flexible, team player with good attention to detail and time management; Self-starter mentality and flexible in handling change; Good level of communication is required: both interpersonal and intercultural
