AGCO is looking for a APS Senior Manager SA that will be responsible for advance, direct and manage the implementation of AGCO Production System (APS) in South America operations applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Lean Office methods both on the shop floor and in the office. Also, will work closely to the Manufacturing Engineering and other support areas, promoting the improvement of current processes, designing new processes in a Lean perspective and promoting manufacturing footprint optimizations. Support the high-level strategies of the business through strategic plan to be created, deployed and tracked through implementation process within SA Manufacturing sites and support areas (safety, quality, logistics, production, continuous improvement and controlling). Contribute to the alignment of the manufacturing systems within the AGCO group and the incorporation of Lean philosophy as an integral component of the corporate culture. In addition, the function will be responsible to coordinate the Regional Manufacturing School and APS training activities in the respective region. The regional function is also responsible for supporting APS training to various levels of the organization to help ensure employees have the key skills required for successful regional manufacturing results.

Job Responsibilities:

•  APS Strategic Plan, Implementation Plan and milestones.

•  Plan, direct, support operations and site leaders on manage the manufacturing system according to AGCO-specific Lean Manufacturing methods, driving for continuous improvements and efficiency gains.

•  Drive, integrate and support the manufacturing strategy for the region, supporting the manufacturing leadership.

•  Coordinate projects to achieve AGVANCE wining outcome goals (NPS, People Engagement and RONA) as well as the Efficiency goals.

•  Improvement of the manufacturing process (implementation of MFG and other Functional Lean Office KPIs and improvement in those KPIs).

Competencies:

  • Detailed knowledge of continuous improvement techniques (Lean Production, Lean Office, 6 sigma, Process Improvement, Ideas program) and the manufacturing systems within AGCO, within the industry and across industries.

    •  Very good knowledge of project management methods and leading teams.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Lean Manufacturing / Continuous improvement Certification and experience are required (APS)
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • Experience with MS-Office (especially Excel, Word) is needed.
  • English fluent and good level of Spanish
  • Complete Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Production, Mechanic, Lean)
