As the District Manager you will be responsible for education, influence, and profitable sales of GSI products; account development; and increasing market share. Duties also include timely submission of required records and reports, including accurate sales forecasting and sales funnel management and reporting.   Achieves sales order volume and market share objectives established by management.  Efficiently covers assigned accounts providing customers with important information on GSI’s products and programs while maintaining expense budget objectives.  Effectively develops and trains assigned accounts to GSI product offerings.  Evaluates competitive actions and strategies and recommends effective responses. Determines challenges from a price competitive perspective. Assists in the development and implementation of strategic plans. 

 

Your Impact

  • Achieves targeted sales and market share targets by developing and implementing all aspects of customer coverage and support. Close coordination of product support issues with customer support team and customer issues with the Director Commercial Sales, NA to assure maximum dealer and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluates and recommends account candidates that will most effectively represent objectives of GSI.
  • Obtains a thorough knowledge of all GSI and competitive products to effectively train customers in the salient features of our products. 
  • Makes pertinent recommendations for new products and product modifications to improve GSI’s product acceptance.
  • Maintains industry contacts to stay abreast of technical, competitive and other developments of possible value to positively affect GSI’s operations.

 

Your Skills

  • B.S Degree in Business Marketing and / or marketing academic background, MBA preferred but not required
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience
  • Prior experience sales leadership required
  • Experience within the GSI or one of its competitors a plus
  •    Strong interpersonal skills, can approach people proactively, can train/coach
  •    Able to quickly adapt to a fast changing environment
  •    Customer Focused
  •    Self-driven
  •    Accountable, trustworthy
  •    Team oriented
  •    Strong communication skills & cultural awareness
