As the District Manager you will be responsible for leading a territory of the North America Grain Farm Sales department and is accountable for the sales performance, territory management, and staff development of approximately 50 independent dealerships.  The District Manager works closely with dealers and end-users regarding all technical aspects of GSI products and is ultimately responsible for the financial success of the NA Grain Farm Sales territory and drives success through territory development of customer base, profitable sales of products and increases in market share.

 

Your Impact

  • Short term & long term sales territory development
  • Achieve targeted sales and market share targets by developing and implementing all aspects of dealer and/or customer coverage and support. Close coordination with Marketing and Product Management.  Achieve a positive working relationship, promotes cooperation and a high level of teamwork with inside sales, marketing and product management personnel.
  • Accountability for a portion of  annual NA Grain Farm sales
  • Mine and analyze data in support of the greater GSI NA Grain business unit
  • Create & update accurate forecasts to enable the NA plants to run personnel & equipment in an efficient manner
  • Analyze and provide dealer development opportunities and recommendations to support strategic growth initiatives

 

Your Skills

  •    B.S Degree in Business Marketing and / or marketing academic background, MBA preferred but      not required
  •    Minimum 5 years of management experience
  •    Experience within the GSI or one of its competitors a plus
  •    Strong interpersonal skills, can approach people proactively, can train/coach
  •    Able to quickly adapt to a fast changing environment
  •    Customer Focused
  •    Self-driven
  •    Accountable, trustworthy
  •    Team oriented
  •    Strong communication skills & cultural awareness
