Our Global Product Management team has an exciting opportunity for a Global Product Manager candidate to support our Storage product line.  For the right candidate, this work may be done remotely and will need to reside within a 3-hour commute to the Assumption, IL facility.  This position is key in driving long-term product innovation in line with the companies strategic direction and to develop new products enhancing AGCO's  grain storage business as well as to develop new services to its customer by utilizing new technologies.


This position will develop future business plans of the grain storage products and help develop the regional growth plans for the global franchises and to ensure the ability to drive and improve the gross profit margins of all product lines as well as to set the strategic pricing for new product lines and equipment in alignment with the regional sales leaders.

Regional priorities of this role will be focused on NA, EME, and SA. 


Your Impact:

- Develop global road maps AGCO's  grain storage products
- Provide Voice of Customer (VOC) for product line, act as the face of the product line for the business
- Manage product line profitability in conjunction with regional business leaders
- Develop and implement strategies to improve product line profitability
- Define product gaps in all grain product lines that need to be filled
- Develop strategic pricing for new product introductions
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing on product evaluation for potential new product and/or rationalizations/modifications
- Perform extensive analysis and planning for product positioning and go to market strategies
- Collaborate with Strategic Marketing, Regional Leadership, Sales on product pricing, sales estimates/forecasts and margin analysis for all NPD projects
- Perform analysis to understand our competitive product and price positioning


Your Skills:

- Bachelors Degree required (Engineering or Marketing degree is preferred) 

- 5+ years of post-collegiate professional work experience in a business setting
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence rather than control (project leadership/strategic direction)
- Familiarity with margin management, general understanding of financial reports and profitability reporting with variance
- Prior experience working across multiple company functions
- New Product Introduction team experience 
- Sales, marketing, or engineering experience in a manufacturing and/or agriculture  related field.
