Grain and Protein Technologies is a global organization with nearly 4,000 employees who develop technological solutions for farmers. Through products such as silos, grain drying and moving equipment, and connected controllers to improve animal welfare, the company’s mission is to provide smart solutions to ensure sustainable agriculture.
The North America team is currently looking for a Human Resources Operation Specialist who will oversee managing HR Processes, maintaining employee records and providing support in various HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll and compliance.
Your Impact
- Manage the employee life cycle, employee records, HR database, and HR-related requests received from the employees, managers and HR colleagues in North America.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job posting, onboarding and ensuring all necessary documents are completed by the new hire.
- Create and update reports to support HR decision-making and compliance with recurrent processes (eg. KPIs, salary increase, bonus payment, etc.)
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries by working closely with the North America Payroll Specialist.
- Maintain policies and processes related to the Human Capital Strategies and ensure compliance with labor laws, as well as coordinate training on HR operations to the Human Resources team and employees.
- Enhance employee engagement by providing support in employee relations, handling inquiries and resolving HR Operations issues in a timely manner.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Collegial or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role
- Experience in managing data in a payroll system and HRIS, processing payroll, and onboarding processes
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and laws including the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience collaborating with service departments such as Human Resources, Finance, Sales, IT, Product Development, and Engineering
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
