AGCO is currently seeking a IT Analyst to join our Information Technology team in Assumption, IL. The IT Anaylst will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining all desktop and network infrastructure computing hardware and software used by AGCO employees, contractors and AGCO visitors to ensure optimal workstation performance. Additionally, the IT Anaylst will assist end-users via remote access, telephone, or in-person.
What you will do:
- Diagnose and quickly resolve all Windows applications and networking problems reported to help minimize downtime and troubleshoot and support mobile devices (smart phone and tablets)
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 10, Microsoft Office365 and any other AGCO approved desktop applications
- Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all hardware equipment (including but not limited to desktops, laptops, thin clients, printers, scanners, copiers, smart-phones, tablets and bar code readers)
- Follow AGCO's approved processes and procedures for Asset Management (Hardware and Software) and educate end users on basic software, hardware and peripheral device operation
- Provide site support and assistance to the Central IT Support Teams (Network, Storage, Telecom) as needed, including physical replacement of racked switches or servers.
- Communicate recommendations for future modifications and/or additions to the current standards to the Global Desktop Team
What you will bring:
- High School Diploma is required; Associates degree or equivalent military experience preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in an IT Technical Support or related role, specifically supporting Windows 10 as well as Microsoft Office365
A plus if you have:
- 2+ years of experience supporting video conferencing equipment and IP Telephony support experience
- 2+ years of experience working in an enterprise environment and supporting network infrastructure
- One of the following technical certifications: Microsoft Windows 7 or higher certifications (MCP, MTA, MCSA, MCSE), CompTIA A+ Certification
- Experience with IBM AS/400 & System21
Additional Requirements
- Travel could be occasional (e.g. training, supporting Grain&Protein location)
- Off hours support, as required and in rotation with other staff.
- General Work Area: This is an office based position within a manufacturing facility. May be exposed to fumes, smoke and other chemicals, electrical machinery, moving equipment and various temperatures throughout his or her shift.
