Grain & Protein is seeking a talented, passionate, and highly motivated IT/OT Operations Technician to join our Grain & Protein IT team based in Assumption, IL. We are seeking a skilled OT Operation Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all IT and OT assets at our manufacturing site, including both office environments and the shop floor. This role requires a versatile individual capable of managing network, desktop, and server support while maintaining robust cybersecurity measures.

Your Impact

• Provide comprehensive support for all IT and OT assets, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime, plus smart hands support for other IT departments (network, hosting, etc.)
• Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT workstations, printers, devices, desktop and server hardware and software, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect against threats, as well as respond to and resolve IT and OT incidents promptly, minimizing impact on operations.
• Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and incidents, including processing tickets as second level support
• Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding and use of IT and OT systems.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT/OT support roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in multifunction printers’ maintenance, MS365, Microsoft Windows & Microsoft Server OS, Network Hardware, Server & Storage Hardware, Windows desktop and server environments, Cisco network equipment, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are preferred.
