Grain and Protein Technologies is a global organization with nearly 4,000 employees who develop technological solutions for farmers. The North America team is currently looking for a Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Intern to join our EHS team based in Assumption, IL. Other locations available for this position are based out of Paris, IL, Taylorville, IL, and Bremen, AL. This is a paid, full-time internship during the summer of 2025 at our Grain & Protein headquarters in Assumption, IL. Housing is provided for students who reside more than fifty miles from the internship. Students are required to work forty hours per week on-site at the office of their respective internship location from May through August 2025. This internship would be primarily in a manufacturing environment but will also include some office environment.

Your Impact

Assist with the completion of various projects/tasks including, but not limited to the following:

• Develop and implement various written programs
• Assist in ergonomic assessments and improvements
• Conduct regulatory safety and environmental audits
• Review and develop specific training programs
• Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses and other evaluations

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Enrollment in a degree program on environmental, health and safety or related field
• Must be registered as a full-time student
• Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
