AGCO has an exciting opportunity for an KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER in Assumption, Illinois. This Key Account Manager is responsible for the post sales and project management of GSI commercial project orders. Objectives of the role are to drive consistency across all facets of the project, ship all project components on time, optimize project work flow to benefit internal stakeholders, provide communication to internal/external teams, and help with special request from global customers to meet their needs.


Job Function and Responsibilities

Responsible for direct management of all commercial project orders per an assigned region. Work with Production, Credit, Logistics, DM’s & Dealers to ensure OTD of product to the customer. Minimize movement of production orders and helps reschedule backorder/shortages. Eliminate bottlenecks to drive process improvement and supports GSI sales activities when needed.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS 
Education

  • B.S Degree in Business, Engineering, or Agriculture is preferred.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3 years of customer service, inside sales, or international experience preferred.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority required
  • Prior experience working across multiple company functions preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, can approach people proactively.
  • Able to quickly adapt to a fast changing environment

ADDITIONAL Requirements

  • Minimal travel is anticipated for this position.

  • Position will be an integral part of the North American sales organization at GSI. Successful candidate will be expected to manage the sales of commercial projects, work cross functionally to deliver work on time, and manage multiple projects at one time.
