Grain and Protein Technologies is a global organization with nearly 4,000 employees who develop technological solutions for farmers. Through products such as silos, grain drying and moving equipment, and connected controllers to improve animal welfare, the company’s mission is to provide smart solutions to ensure sustainable agriculture.
The North America team is currently looking for a Product Manager (PM) of Protein Controls and Digital Services for our North American facilities. The ideal candidate will lead the full lifecycle of service development for protein controls and digital services across all core products and brands in line with our customers (farmers) needs for swine, broilers, and breeders. The PM must understand customer pain points and opportunities through customer interactions and a competitive market watch and have a strong desire to address them through simple yet efficient solutions. The PM works closely with End Customers (Farmers), Dealers, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Third Party Suppliers, and Manufacturing to develop, manage, and execute the control and digital services roadmaps. This involves close collaboration with some partner customers for quick new product development feedback, and with the solution architect to define and refine platforms which will help optimize product development.
Your Impact
- Collect voice-of-customer (VOC) to create service specifications and requirements for New Product Development (NPD) projects as well as ensure the suitability of current services to meet market demand
- Identify industry trends, as well as understand / monitor competitors, competitive market environment, and service developments to expand our service capabilities
- Maintain the product road map and ensure that our services fit the current requirements through product rationalization and refinement and that emerging needs are addressed through new product development and modifications of existing products if required
- Drive NPD by identifying product gaps and opportunities and develop business cases for our end customer and dealers to support their business and increase their profitability as well as their efficiency
- Maintain service pricing utilizing gross margin analysis and competitive analysis
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in agribusiness, marketing, product management or other relevant degree
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in agricultural products
- Knowledge of financial information including income statements, margin analyses, budgets, and forecasting
- Knowledge of ventilation systems
- Experience communicating with farmers and executives and resolving customer needs
Your Compensation and Benefits
Expected annual salary for this role will be $100,000 - $130,000, plus a 10% bonus target. This is dependent upon job related knowledge, experience, and skills.

Your Workplace and Travel
You will be working a remote role based in Assumption, IL. Frequent travel to business & customer sites, dealerships and tradeshows. Estimated at 5-10 nights per month (40% travel at least).
