The Service Technician will be responsible for providing technical service and support to Grain equipment troubleshooting and repair assistance including telephone and electronic communication and in-person support, if required. This position involves supporting all of the products under the AGCO Grain umbrella.


What You Will Do

  • Interact daily with GSI dealers, dealer technicians, contractors, customers, and internal resources / departments to provide equipment troubleshooting and repair assistance.
  • Troubleshoot equipment both mechanical and electrical communicating effectively with leadership, sales team, technical service, internal customer service, and engineering to resolve reported equipment issues.
  • Complete root cause analysis and implement countermeasures to resolve equipment functionality issues.
  • Support the technical service team call center, BASLC service center, dealer training, and harvest extended hours, as scheduled, to provide our dealers efficient & effective equipment troubleshooting solutions.
  • Enter calls into the call log for future reference with product quality issues, product improvement and departmental usage noted.


What You Will Bring

  • Associate's degree in technical field or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of previous mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.


A Plus If You Have

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Salesforce software usage.
  • Ability to read wiring schematics.
