The AGCO Parts Division has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Parts Integration and Retail Inventory Management team in Batavia, IL. The Batavia PDC is the master distribution center for North America operating around the clock to serve internal and external customers on a global scale. This is a role with growth potential and developmental opportunities. In this position, you will drive the highest level of service and quality to our dealership network.

 

The Supply Chain Analyst will monitor and adjust variables to meet the needs of individual dealer stores while using data to influence positive behavior. Additionally, the Dealer Inventory Planner will work cross-functionally with other departments, such as sales and marketing, forecast and planning, purchasing, finance, human resources and information technology.

What you will do:

  • Assemble data, analyze performance, identify problems, and develop recommendations to support dealerships
  • Utilize forecasting software and other tools to optimize available stock inventories and replenishment order recommendations
  • Monitor key performance indicators and analyze performance data to increase effectiveness of supply chain and influence behavior
  • Lead goal-oriented projects from identification to execution while working cross-functionally
  • Prioritize and determine feasibility of alternative solutions to current supply chain processes
  • Show initiative, drive, and most importantly able to both maintain focus on the big picture while also demonstrating a commitment to details
  • Capable of handling challenging IT systems, file manipulation, and data integration
  • Manipulate data in SQL, Excel, and Access

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or Operations
  • 1-5 years working in inventory management and supply chain
  • 1-5 years working with an inventory management system
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency, specifically the ability to perform VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, formulas, and charts

A plus if you have:

  • VBA experience, specifically knowledgeable in creating queries and tables as well as manipulating data
  • Exposed to the concept of Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • 1-3 years using Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations
  • 1-3 years creating queries and writing within SQL
