The Sr. Director, Sales & Marketing, Part serves as a member of the Global Parts leadership team and provides direct oversight of the Marketing and Sales functions for the North American Aftersales division. 

 

The focus of the Sr. Director, Sales & Marketing Parts is to boost parts and service sales, profitability, and customer retention by managing dealer-facing support. This role leads the Sales & Marketing budget for NA and the 5-year strategic plan. They aim to increase sales, share of wallet with AGCO customers, and profits for both dealers and the company. Additionally, they will enhance sales of parts, maintenance, and extended warranty agreements.

 

The incumbent will support dealers and customers with a Farmer First approach, develop Aftersales capabilities, deploy eCommerce, increase Reman component use, and improve forecasting through managed dealer inventory. They maintain regular contact with dealers and field sales, ensure optimal use of resources, manage the department budget, disseminate policies, and participate in dealer forums and industry functions.

 

Your Workplace

This role follows AGCO’s on‑site work model, with employees primarily working from an AGCO location a minimum of 4 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork. This role is onsite in our Batavia IL facility.

 

 

Your Impact

  • Leads the Development of Sales & Marketing budget for NA, along with the 5-year strategic plan and guides the collection and sharing of market intelligence to inform business risks and opportunities
  • Develops the business plan for the Sales and Marketing function and delegates responsibility for the execution of those plans; Develops accurate forecasts and delivers the reporting required for budgeting and forecasting in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintains on-going communication with dealers and field sales personnel to keep abreast of trends, product and program needs and all market conditions affecting the sale of parts.
  • Improves profitability through well-designed Parts Marketing programs, promotions and new product offerings and monitors effectiveness.
  • Actively looks to identify and capitalize new business opportunities for targeted, profitable growth and delegate responsibility for the execution of specific activities to realize those opportunities.
  • Influences product development and purchasing activities by working effectively across functions to ensure suppliers understand AGCO’s market drivers.
  • Leads the Aftersales Dealer Panel

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Marketing, Business, or Finance
  • 10+ years of work experience in sales, marketing, and a B2B setting
  • Proficiency in basic Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TEAMs, and Outlook
  • Experience working in the area of distribution development and business planning

 

Your Compensation

This position will pay within the range of $130,000.00-$170,000.00, based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 30% of compensation.

 

Travel

This position includes 50-60% travel through North America, and some global travel opportunities.
