The AGCO Parts Division has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Supply Chain, Parts NA to join our Parts Integration and Retail Inventory Management (MDI) team in Batavia, IL. The Batavia PDC is the master distribution center for North America operating around the clock to serve internal and external customers on a global scale. This is a role with growth potential and developmental opportunities. In this position, you will drive the highest level of service and quality to our dealership network.

This is a position of significant breadth involving a wide variety of stakeholders. These can be internal (Sales & Marketing, Finance, Operations, Technical Services and other Supply Chain functions) as well as external (Dealers, Consultants, IT companies). The Supply Chain Manager will play a key role in maximizing dealer program adoption and part availability by ensuring the needs of individual dealer stores and customers are met.  This position will work with global counterparts to establish continuity of forecasting platform, strategies, processes, and adoption.

 

What you will do:

  • Oversee the team of planners responsible for providing part stocking recommendations to dealers generated from a forecasting platform
  • Oversight and the responsibility to continually refine and improve the planning and order parameters to optimize available stock inventories and replenishment order recommendations
  • Lead goal-oriented projects from identification to execution while working cross-functionally
  • Monitor key performance indicators and analyze performance data to increase effectiveness of supply chain and influence behavior
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams in order to increase program adoption and satisfaction

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or quantitative discipline
  • 5+ years working in inventory management and supply chain, including experience working with an inventory management system
  • 2-5 years of management experience
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency, specifically the ability to perform VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, formulas, and charts
  • 1-3 years using Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations

A plus if you have:

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline
  • VBA experience, specifically knowledgeable in creating queries and tables as well as manipulating data
  • Exposed to the concept of Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • 1-3 years creating queries and writing within SQL
