The Legal Counsel ensures the company’s legal security. They handle all legal matters of the company from a commercial, tax, and social perspective, ensuring proper application of regulations within their areas of responsibility (as per the list of main activities below) and safeguarding the company’s interests.
Your Impact:

Distribution & Competition: Internal support on matters relating to distribution, competition and the company’s distribution networks; involvement in resolving disputes or issues related to distribution agreements, their performance and their development.

Litigation: Management of litigation matters relating to distribution contracts, with or without the support of external counsel, and monitoring of ongoing procedural timelines.

Compliance: Support on all compliance-related matters (anti-corruption, GDPR, CSR, ethics), responding to operational teams’ queries, and contributing to the implementation and monitoring of compliance programmes.

Contracts: Support and analysis of any kind of contracts.

Advisory role to operational teams: Support for projects and drafting of agreements and contracts; providing recommendations to reconcile regulatory compliance with operational needs, constraints and internal procedures.
Your Experience and Qualification:

Master’s degree (Master 1 or 2) in Business Law and compliance; a specialization in distribution and competition law would be an advantage

Professional experience in business law and applicable regulations (preferably in distribution law, competition law, commercial law) and compliance

Fluent in English

Organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication, rigor and responsiveness; strong analytical and synthesis, good communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team
